When it comes to overnight oats, the flavour combo options are almost endless!

Plus, overnight oats can be made in advance, allowing you to enjoy a nourishing brekky on the go — even on busy mornings! For example, mix up a big batch and keep it in lidded jars to grab on your way to work.
We've used the overnight oats with hemp hearts and black chia seeds from Merre Granola, located in the Wheatbelt of WA. All these wholesome ingredients are grown in WA! Plus, they're chock-full of vitamins, minerals, and fibre.
Here are 4 tasty ways to enjoy them.

CARROT CAKE

You get a creamy, mildly tangy & sweet result by using yoghurt, maple syrup, and milk with the oats — a little bit like carrot cake frosting! Along with warming cinnamon, grated carrot, and a topping of nuts & dried fruits, this healthy brekky adaption is (almost) as good as the real thing.
Ingredients:
  • 1/2 cup Merre Granola overnight oats
  • 1/3 cup milk (of choice)
  • 1/3 cup natural yoghurt (of choice)
  • 1/2 tbsp maple syrup (or more/less to taste)
  • 1 small carrot
  • 1/3 tsp ground cinnamon
  • Dash of vanilla essence
  • dried apricots & walnuts to serve
Method:
  • Mix Merre Overnight Oats, maple syrup, yoghurt, grated carrot, vanilla, cinnamon and milk in a bowl or jar. Leave in your fridge overnight, or up to 4 days.
  • Serve overnight oats with roughly chopped walnuts and apricots.
