I think I speak on behalf of every one when I say Christmas is the best time of the year! Everyone is so happy (either because of the celebrations involving endless amounts of food or because work is done for the year and most people finally get some time off…) and there is always so much happening! Whether it be socialising with friends and family, work Christmas do’s or exciting events to attend throughout our beautiful city, there is plenty of fun things to do to get yourself and the family into the Christmas spirit!

Despite what many people may say about little ole’ Perth, there is an abundance of enjoyable things to do in our beautiful city, especially during the silly season. Christmas Lights Trail - 16th November, 2018

Check out the thousands of bright lights transform the city into a dazzling Christmas land! Enjoy festive entertainment, Twilight Hawkers Markets and of course, the most important part of it all - Santa and his sleigh!

Santas Christmas Carnival - 9th December - Claremont Showgrounds

Enjoy a weekend of festivities with this years Christmas Carnival, filled with loads of rides, activities and entertainment for all ages. With just one entry fee, giving you (FREE!) access to unlimited rides and entertainment all day, there’s no reason to not check it out!

Festive Flicks - Every saturday from 24th Nov- 22nd December, 2018

What’s better than Christmas movies? FREE Christmas movies! Head into Northbridge for some movies on the big screen. Every Saturday between 24th November until 22nd December, from 4:30pm. Oh, and did I mention the beanbags, popcorn and a chat with Santa is also FREE! Sounds to good to be true!

Christmas Maze - 8 - 16th December, 2018 - Elizabeth Quay

Oh no! Santa’s reindeers have run off throughout Elizabeth Quay! Join the hunt in this giant Christmas Maze, searching for all nine reindeers along the way and go into the draw to win a Christmas prize!

Christmas Nativity - 19th - 21st December, 2018 - Supreme Court Gardens

Christmas comes to life on stage with over a hundred performers, live animals and Christmas carols in the beautiful surrounds of the Supreme Court Gardens. Pack a rug, some snacks and enjoy the show!

Santa’s Enchanted Wardrobe - 1st - 24th December - Ellie Eaton Pavilion, Claremont Showground

Immerse yourself in a Christmas adventure like no other with one of Perth’s most popular Christmas attractions. Explore expanded immersive worlds, amazing holographic special effects and spellbinding new characters. This event is inspired by the wonderful world of Narnia and blurs the lines between the actors, sets and audience, creating a new and exciting form of theatre that makes the audience a part of the story.

RAC Christmas Pageant - 1st December - St Georges Terrace

Experience the magic, colour and spectacle of your favourite floats as the Christmas Pageant returns for its 46th year! Get down early, set up camp and enjoy the spectacular lights and entertainment from 7:30pm.

Christmas Lights Cruise - 1 Dec 2018 - 6 Jan 2019

Cruise through the stunning Mandurah canals and take in the Christmas lights illuminating and reflecting onto the water from the luxury canal homes. Can I just say, I had the pleasure of experiencing this with my family when I was younger and boy was it breathtaking. Definitely a sight to see!
