HANDY HINT. Do you find your veggies are going soft sitting in your fridge? FEAR NO MORE! We suggest wrapping your veg in either a tea towel or placing them in breathable produce bags (poke holes in your plastic bags to reuse!) before storing in your fridge to keep them protected from the cold air (although hearty, vegetables can be sensitive little fellas) You can also cut the tops off vegetables such as baby carrots and store upright in a container with cold water to keep them fresh for days! This also works for herbs, place them in a jar of cold water with a glad bag covering the tops to extend life and stop dehydration. The DT Team x
