We cooked this tonight. Very disappointing in that, having extended the cooking time in the slow cooker to 4 hours, the potatoes and the carrots were not cooked. We added the green beans 15 minutes before but they were still very crunchy. The potato was inedible. I don't think the times given for a slow cook for raw vegetables is enough and the recipe should be amended. We did have the slow cooker on High setting. The garlic bread was very good. In general we find the DT suggested cooking times to be under-estimated.

family loved it. I just threw everything in the slow cooker, didn't bother browning and it was perfect!
